Ve29 Gilbert de Venables of Kinderton b about 1050 a 1086 Since Gilbert de Venables eldest brother was born in 1046 and presuming his other half siblings were born before him he could have born in 1050, which would make him 16 at the time of the Conquest making it possible to have taken part in it.
Gilbert came over to England with the Conqueror whose daughter Adela was his sister-in-law. King Stephen, who reigned 1135-1154, was Gilbert's nephew.
