But TCP Vescy has a note reporting: "That Richard FitzEustace was the father of Roger FitzRichard, lord of Warkworth, 2nd husband of Alice de Vere, was proved to be a fallacy by Round in Essex Arch. Soc, Trans., N.S., vol. iii, p.248."
