It is really something to sing and dance about.
Dig up those old bones and get them dancing!

Change the two party system
so people against something like abortion
but for something like environmental protection never again get bigger and badder storms
and two bankrupting wars instead.

Botetourt of Botetourt, Botetourt of Mendlesham, Botreaux of Boscastle, Botreaux of Botreaux

Bo20. John de Botetourt, 1st Lord b aft 1262 by 1265 d 25.11.1324, Admiral. Many web sites show this John as a son of Edward Longshanks (King Edward I of England), some as an illegitimate son, others as a legitimate son by Edward's second wife, Margaret of France. Neither TCP nor BE1883 mentions any such connection, TCP simply saying his "parentage is unknown". GenEU (Anjou) reports that King Edward had an illegitimate son called John Walter FitzRoy de Botetourte whose similar identification, if he indeed existed, may have led to this confusion. As TCP and, in particular, BE1883 may have been expected to report the possibility of a descent from King Edward had such been considered possible, so this connection seems to be a relatively new 'discovery'. Other sources show his father only as Guy Botetourte.
