Griffith p393 shows a Gruffydd in this generation and cross-references him to Griffith p41 where he is shown as father of Gruffydd Vychan father of Dafydd father of Gruffydd m. Gwenllian father of Evan m. Gwenhwyfer etc.. This appears to be a clear duplication of the first few generations shown on Griffith p134 as descended from Llewelyn, shown on Griffith p393 and above as Gruffydd's eldest brother. We presume that it was a mistaken duplication.
