Tyndale 1: Tyndale of Bathford, Tyndale of Deane, Tyndale of Eastwood Park, Tyndale of Hockwold, Tyndale of Kington St. Michael, Tyndale of Langley, Tyndale of Tansover, Tyndale of Tyndale
Patriach of this family and (great?) grandfather of the following was probably Uchtred, Lord of Tyndale, who married Bethoc Canmore, daughter of Donald III, King of Scots from 1093-1099.[2] His name, the period of his life and his lands and position suggest a kinship with the Anglo Saxon Earls of Northumbria, one of whom was Uchtred the Bold, Earl from 1006 to 1016.

Commoners vol iv, Tyndale and some web sites name her father Semovitz or similar, other web sites as Premislaus. Commoners and various web sites identify Margaret as niece of Emperor Charles IV son of Jean of Luxembourg who married Elizabeth of Bohemia and became King of Bohemia and report that, because of this connection, the crown of Bohemia was offered to her great-grandson Sir John Tyndale. Whilst some web sites suggest that Margaret was daughter of Elizabeth, sister of Emperor Charles IV. reported by fabpedigree as dau of Sir Thomas but alternatively reported to be of the Tynsdales of Somerset/Wilts. However, some DNA matches with eastern Europeans are showing up that could be explained by a descent from Alana de Felbrigge and Margaret of Teschen, s.a.?Ty14 =17 y Tyndale possibly the same as one of the above -1 Margaret ?Tyndale b about 1530 (This might have been a second marriage or one of the above mentioned unnamed daughters of Sir John Tyndale and Amphyllis Conongsby. This assumption is based on the statement by Rowland Taylor during his interrogation by Papists that he marrid his wife Margaret "in the house of John Tyndale of London." If so the reasons for this place of marriage could have been that she was either John's daughter, ward or servant. If she was John's ward, she was most likely related to him, and we are reminded that William Tyndale, the Bible translator and opponent of Henry VIII's divorce was burned at the stake only 20 years earlier. Rowland would have been most loathe to reveal that his wife was a close relative of William Tyndale for fear that she too would be burned at the stake.)
