but for something like environmental protection never again get bigger and badder storms
and two bankrupting wars instead.

Make the Electoral College a permanent government body with seat distribution proportional to the party tally in each state and give it the right to approve cabinet members and under secretaries instead of the US Senate!

1. Hervey de Sutton b about 1110

The above names come from 'Tudor'. BE1883 starts with ...
i. Hervey de Sutton of Sutton b about 1170
a. Robert de Sutton dsp
b. Richard de Sutton
1 Agnes de Sutton
m Gilbert de Muschamp
2 Margery de Sutton
m Stephen de Coverham
3 Alice de Sutton
4 Mary de Sutton
m Guichard de Charrons
5 Elizabeth de Sutton
A William de Caunton
c. Rowland de Sutton b about 1190
m c1215 Alice de Lexington dau of Richard de Lexington
1 William de Sutton of Worksop b 1217, d 1268
m1 Matilda
A Robert de Sutton of Worksop b 1240, d c1273
m Johanna
i Richard de Sutton of Warsop/Worksop b 29.09.1266 BE1883 reports that the father of Richard's wife, Isabel, was Roderic, son of Griffin, Lord of Shokelach. BP1934 reports that he was William Patrick. We follow BE1883 as Visitation Cheshire, 1580, Egerton of Egerton and Oulton reports an Isabell, dau of Roderick ap Griffin, as having married a Sir Richard Sutton. However, it is somewhat presumptuous that this is the same Richard Sutton.
m Isabel dau of Roderick ap Griffin
a Sir John de Sutton, later of Dudley Castle
m Margaret de Somerie dau of Roger de Somerie of Dudley
1 John de Sutton, Lord of Dudley d 1359
BE1883 identifies the calling of this John to Parliament in 1342 as evidence that he was created a hereditary Baron. Neither TCP nor BP1934 agree with that. We follow them.
m Isabel de Cherleton d 10.04.1397, dau of John de Cherleton, Lord of Powis
A John de Sutton, 'Lord' of Dudley d c1370/1376
m1 25.12.1357 Catherine de Stafford d 12.1361, dau of Ralph de Stafford, 1st Earl of Stafford
m2 Johanna Clinton dau of John Clinton of Coleshill
BE1883 shows John as succeeded by "his only son", John, but various web sites suggest that he was also father of the following Thomas. BP1934 introduces the son John as "The son of John Sutton and Isabella, his wife" which stretching a point might indicate that, if Thomas was of this generation, he may have been illegitimate.
B Thomas de Sutton, later Dudley of Clopton or Clapton d 1369
2 Margaret or Katherine? de Sutton
m Roger Hillary
b Agnes de Sutton b c 1294 Warsop d 12 Jun 1340

m2 Isabel Pigott
3 Margaret de Sutton probably of this generation
