Dig up those old bones and get them dancing!

Change the two party system
so people against something like abortion
but for something like environmental protection never again get bigger and badder storms

+4 y Gamelyn b c 1510. Clues to this line 5 generations earlier: tempest1 shows that Te19 Sir Richard Tempest of Bracewell b 1356, a 1403 married Isabel Leygard dau of Sir John Leygard and widow of John Grassus of Gemelyn, and that Isabel Leygard was mother of at least Sir Piers and Isabel Tempest. As the name is so unique, it would be reasonable to suspect that the Graas family assumed the name of their family seat at some later date. This would seem to be in N. France or Belgium, and they may have been the progenitors of this line. However, there does not seem to be any place in Europe with either of these variants of the names, although the variant Gammelbyn renders a place in Sweden just NE of Oslo, Norway, which might explain the author's Scandinavian DNA matches.

+4 X X43 b c 1520 Haplogroup H VR1 with mutations 16295T and 16519C seems to have originated in the area of Croatia over 5000 years ago and has been carried to Italy and along the mediterranean coast to southern France and Spain and has had some dissemination from there to NW Europe, probably in the course of Roman colonisation, so the gap between know lineage and the earliest known general population movements is about 1000 years or 40 generations. The known ties of the Gascoignes to Normandy, Gascony and Britanny make marriages to families from that area in the aftermath of the Lancastrian loss of the the throne of France likely.

The above comes from Walker's 'Yorkshire Pedigrees'. BEB1841, which starts with Edward, father of the 1st Baronet, confirms that he descended from the John who "coming from Leventhorpe Hall, in Yorkshire, settled in the county of Hertford and represented that shire in parliament". www.british-history.ac.uk, in its article on the Parish of Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, starts with John d 1433, MP and reports the descent to the first baronet as that John then John d 1484, MP, Thomas b c1424, d 1493, John d 1511, Sheriff, Thomas d 1527, Edward d 1551, Edward d 1566 then Sir John, 1st Bart.
