Hein, Heinchen, Hayn, Haynchen, Hen Henchen, etc. were dimiutives of both the Christian names, Johann and Henrich, so that it is impossible to know which was the full Christian name of these two men....
"Hannes was apparently the first son of Hein Grimm, succeeding his father about 1526-7, but probably dying soon after, and being succeeded by his slightly younger brother, Heit Grimm, by 1529."[1]
"Thus, the records would indicate only three generations of the Grimm family at Niederholzklau through Heit Grimm, namely, Heinchen or Hein Grimm I, born around 1435-40, died 1505-10; Hein Grimm, his son, born around 1460-65, died about 1525; and Hein's three sons, Hannes Grimm of the 1527 record, Johann Keppel of Osthelden (who appears there 1527-49), and Heit Grimm of Niederholzklau, all born ca. 1490-1500.[2]

A more thorough discussion of these early generations of the Holtzclaw ancestry is given in the October 1970 issue of the Virginia Genealogical Society Quarterly in an article called "Grimm-Keppel-Holtzclaw" (pages 73-82).[1]
"The father of the three brothers, Hein Keppel, Johann Holtzklau, and Hans, of the 1566 record... was Heit or Heitgen Grimm, Hoffmann of the Keppel farm at Niederholzklau, from at least 1532 to 1549. Heit or Heitgen is a diminutive of the Christian name Heiderich,, and Heit was probably born around 1500 and died around 1555. His Christian name is spelled in all sorts of ways in the old records, and the same is true of the 'surname', Grim or Grymme, etc. A list of the properties of the Keppel Convent in 1558 shows that Hans Grimm was the successor of Heit at the Niederholzklau Hof. This Hans Grimm was almost certainly the brother Hans referred to in the 1566 testimony of Hein Keppel as owing his brother Johann Holtzklau 18 Florins. The debts of Hein and Hans were probably connected with the settlement of the estate of their father, Heit Grimm, who seems to have been fairly prosperous, judging by the tax lists."[2] "Heit Grimm was almost certainly the son of Hein Grimm and the grandson of Heinhen Grimm, who both preceded him at the Keppel farm.
