| James Whiting was born about 1610 and immigrated
to Virginia in 1617 as a member of the family of George Keth and was shown
to be 16 in the census of 1626.
From this we can postulate that he was orphaned by 1617 and that George Keth was his uncle, which would make his mother's maiden name Keth. He travel to England and returned in 1638 and arranged for his wife to follow him in 1643. He died in Gloucester Co., Va. after 1652. |
