    He was Sheriff of Cambridgeshire. He resided at Isleham, Cambridge, England. He was a member of Parliament for Cambridgeshire in 1604. He was created 1st Baronet on 22 May 1611. .

    (Pe13-1) Anne Peyton married John Peyton Esq., son of Sir John Peyton and Dorothy Beaupre, on 25 Nov 1602 at Isleham, Cambridge, England.

    (Pe13-3) Mary Peyton was baptized on 4 May 1590. She married Roger Meeres Esq. on 19 Jun 1609. 
    (Pe13-4).   Mary Peyton was baptized on 3 Aug 1592. She died on 5 Aug 1592; infancy. 
    (Pe13-5)   Roger Peyton was born on 10 Feb 1593 at Isleham, Cambridge, England. He died; unmarried. 
    He left a will on 30 Jun 1617; proved 13 Aug 1617. 
    (Pe13-6)   Frances Peyton was baptized on 16 Apr 1595. She married Sir Philip Beddingfield, son of Philip Beddingfield, on 27 Nov 1615; 1st husband. She married Miles Hobart Esq., son of Sir Henry Hobart Bart, in 1622; 2nd husband. She died in 1631. 
    (Pe13-7)   Susan Peyton was baptized on 16 Jul 1596. She married Sir John Brewes before 1626. 
    (Pe13-8)   Thomas Peyton was baptized on 21 Jun 1599 at Isleham, Cambridge, England. He died at The Bourse, Holland; unmarried. 
    He was educated in 1617; Inner Temple. 
    (Pe13-9)  Nicholas Peyton was baptized on 19 Oct 1600 at Isleham, Cambridge, England. He died; infancy. He was buried on 26 Nov 1600. 

     

    He left a will on 21 Nov 1615; proved 14 May 1617.
    Known children of Sir John9 Peyton Bart. include:

          i.   John10 Peyton died; d.s.v.p. He was buried on 25 Jan 1611/12 at Isleham, Cambridge, England. 

          ii.   William Peyton married Tabitha Payne, daughter of Henry Payne Esq; 2nd husband. He died before 1669. 
    He resided at Worlington, Suffolk, England. 

          iii.   Elizabeth Peyton married Sir Anthony Irby, son of Sir Anthony Irby, in Feb 1603d17.htm#id3344
