    Esquire of All Cannings
    was the son of Robert Nicholas (Ni13) Esq. of All Cannings and Mary Webb, daughter of William Webb of Bradford, Wilts.
    Born about 1580
    married 3 January 1578 (?1597) Catherine Franklin (Fr12) daughter of Richard Franklin (Fr13) in All Cannings, bur. 22 Oct. 1618.
    Died: Mar./Apr. 1623
    Bur. 3 Apr. 1623 in Allcannings.    		 As a direct male descendant of the Nicholas Families of Alcannings and Roundway he was entitled to bear the Nicholas Coat of Arms, as were his sons and theirs etc.

    son of Dorothy Hennynge - According to the 1677 Dorset Visitations, she married, William Fillyoll, esq. of Knights Street, Dorset, son of William Fillyoll of Knights Street in Marnhull, Dorset) and Elizabeth Fitzjames, dau. of Aldred Fitzjames of Uphill, Dorset (This source says Katherine was dau. of Robert Nicholas, esq., of Alcanning Wilts, but only this Katherine fits)
    Ni11-3 Maria Nicholas, bp. in Allcannings 14 Jan. 1601, m. there 25 July 1615 Richard Goddard of Ash(ing)ton, Wilts.
    Ni11-4 Honor Nicholas, b. 1607, m Richard Bailey in Allcannings, 25 June 1620
