    was the son of  Thomas Ludlow (Lu12) of Dinton (1550-1607) and Jane Pyle (Py12) daughter of Thomas Pyle (Py13)
    and grandson of George Ludlow Esq. (Lu13) (about 1515 -1580) and Edith Windsor (Wi13) (1514 - )

    Married: about 1625 Phyllis ?Wakelyn b 1605/7 (Phyllis died on 18 Dec 1657.) http://www.royalblood.co.uk/D382/I382064.html shows her to be b about 1599 in Dinton, Bucks d after 1653 and the daughter of Alban Wakelyn and Anne Amy Washington and granddaughter of Robert Washington

    (Lu10-1) Gabriel Ludlow, bapt at Warminster 13 Aug. 1622, admitted to the Inner Temple 13 June 1638, killed at the Battle of Newbury in 1644
    (Lu10-2) Lt. Col. Thomas Ludlow bapt 1 Nov. 1624 (? mentioned in Jane Ludlow's (Wa11) Will proved 6 July 1650). Thomas apparently died in Virginia before 1661.

John Carter,  mentioned in Jane Pyle Ludlow's (Wa11) Will proved 6 July 1650    		 Gasbriel Ludlow was called to the bar 15 Oct. ?, elected a Bencher 3 Nov. 1637, Particular Receiver of the Duchy of Lancaster possessions in Norfolk, Suffolk and x-bridge, resigned the office 28 June 1639, Ranger of Sellwood Forest 1638.
