Visitation shows Nicholas as son of Hugh son of Nicholas son of Hugh. But BLG1952 and TCP seems more likely. 2 Visitation identifies Nicholas's wife as Julian, daughter and heir of Robert, Lord Bardolfe. TCP confirms her as daughter of Hugh Bardolf and sister and, in her issue, heir of her brother Robert. As shown on BZmisc03, there was no Lord Bardolf at this time.
